We actually went through much of that process twice because the first home I chose didn't work out. After we did everything the first seller wanted, she pulled out of the deal at the last minute. Martha provided emotional support and encouraged me to find another house that would be even better. She was right! As soon as I walked into this house, it felt like it was the perfect home for me. While preparing my house to sell, I was hiring subs for serious repairs and she could see how overwhelmed I was. She offered to help and kept everyone (including me) on task and on schedule. She has a great eye for design (and knows what appeals to buyers) and helped me with selections of new flooring, paint, etc and she talked me out of doing "unnecessary" renovations, reminding me that some buyers would prefer a blank slate (for the yard, etc). She even helped me find a truly unique staging company to help me carry out (and exceed) my vision for the house so we could present the final product to the market. Through her constant networking, she managed to get an offer on the house before we were market ready- and for more than I initially planned to ask as my listing price. Because my house had needed so many dramatic repairs, buyers would get scared or overly demanding- and my house fell out of escrow several times due to buyers getting spooked. She kept reminding me that the right buyer would come and kept me from accepting low-ball offers in my state of desperation. We ended up selling to the perfect buyer and for more than I ever imagined we could have gotten on the property. She was ethical and through and always had my best interests at heart. I cannot recommend Martha highly enough. She is truly an asset and I am so grateful for her!

I truly hope that Long Realty understands the caliber of person they have working under their banner because professionals like her are extremely hard to come by. When I entered the real estate market almost 11 years ago, I knew nothing about buying a home. Martha was very patient and informative and gave me honest opinions when I asked for them, which was something I really appreciate.
